Abstract

Elements climate condition research especially rainfall in tenggarong regent-Kutai District, was to carried in 4 months (September-Desember). The purpose was to identify the quality and existance rainfall data and analisys rainfall characteristics (rainfall pattern, rainfall type and agroclimatic zone). Rainfall data obtained from 7 rainfall station, either elements climate (temperature, humidity, lenght day, and potential evaporation) include geographical position obtain from primer and secondary data. Rainfall turn on 903-2884 mm/year (average 1875 mm/year) or 153 mm/month) with 69-249 rainday or average 119,8 rain days/year. Tenggarong regent have to double wave rainfall pattern or C rainfall pattern (near to multi wave or B rainfall pattern) in rainfall zone III, with A rainfall type (Q < 9,9%) and including zone agroclimatic E1.
