Abstract

The research objectives were to determine the influence of goat manure and NPK Phonska fertilizers as well as their interaction on the growth of grafted rubber seedlings,and to determine appropriate dosages to obtain better grafted seedling performance. The research conducted from February to May 2015, in the village of Sekolaq Darat, Sekolaq Darat sub District of West Kutai Regency. It used completely randomized design (CRD) with factorial 4 x 4, and repeated 3 times, which comprises two factors research. The first factor was goat manure (K), consisted of four levels, namely: no goat manure application or control (k0), 5ton/ha or equal to 5g/polybag (k1), 10tons/ha or equal to 10g/polybag (k2), and 15tons/ha or equal to 15/polybag (k3). The second factor was NPK Phonska fertilizer (P), consisted of four levels, namely: no NPK Phonska fertilizer aplication or control (p0), 2.5g/polybag (p1), 5g/polybags (p2), and 7.5g/polybag (p3). Result of the reseach revelead that goat manure treatment (K) affects very significantly on the rubber seedling height at age of 2, 3 and 4 months old after grafting, number of leaf at 3 and 4 months after grafting, and stem diameter at 4 months after grafting. It affected significantly on the leaf number at 2 months after grafting and stem diameter at 3 months after grafting. But it did not affect significantly on the stem diameter at 2 months after grafting. The NPK Phonska fertilizer treatment (P) affected very significantly on the seedling height at age of 3 and 4 months after grafting, leaf number and stem diameter at 3 and 4 months after grafting. It affected significantly on the seedling height at 2 months after grafting, number of leaves at 2 and 3 months after grafting, and stem diameter at 2 months after grafting. The interaction treatment (KxP) affected very significantly on the seedling height at 3 and 4 months after grafting. But it did not affect significantly on the seedling height at 2 weeks after grafting, number of leaves at 2, 3 and 4 months after grafting, and stem diameter at 2, 3 and 4 months after grafting.
