Abstract

The aim from this research is to find out the correlation between condition of microclimate at the climax to the broadness of 6 hectares and the log over area to the broadness of 12 hectares in the low land dipterocarpaceae forest at Malinau regency The dominance index value of type (C) in all parts of the tree vertically (crown, stem and bole) in climax is lower then logged over area, whereas various index of species (H) at the crown 1,75, the stem 1,32 and the bole trees 1,24. The similarity index of species from Sorencen (ISs) at the crown 32,2 at the bole and steem 32,2.
