Abstract
This research was conducted in the west Kutai Regency before the development of the area. The objectives of this study to identify global warming indication at East Kalimantan each 5-year periode. The result of this study revealed that annual average air temperature during the period 1977 to 2013 there was an increase 21,2 o C (before period in 1981) became 23,1 o C or average air temperature increase 0,04 o C per year,that shows Global Warming is a necessity to be perceived until within areas of East Kalimantan. Therefore, it necessary to improve the commitment and concrete actions include to press the "land clearing" and otherwise improve forest rehabilitation.
